Patience Is A Virtue.

What I learned today was that I can’t wait to grow up. We went to Wyatt’s friend Nathan’s birthday party. Daddy strapped me to him with the Ergo, and I watched Wyatt jump around in the bouncy house, play with balloons, do some roughhousing on the soccer field, eat cupcakes and then horse around in the playground.

It looked like fun to me.

I can’t wait to be able to do just one of those things.

Time Is Of The Essense.

What I learned today was that when I have a diaper rash in my bum, I need Hot Mama or Daddy to put cream in it. When they put cream in it, they first have to apply it to their finger. To apply it on their finger, they have to find the ointment. To find the ointment, it has to be in a certain place or else they have to dig for it.

The only reason I’m bringing this up is because it gives me plenty of time to pee on them.

Grampas Are Sneaky Cool.

What I learned today was that Grampa is good at fooling me. Sometimes I think he’s just being silly, but he’s actually teaching me something. That’s cool. It’s like I’m learning but laughing while doing it.

I hear you, Grampa.

Other People’s Birthdays Are Fun.

What I learned today was that there are days, and then, there are DAYS. Today was a DAY. In fact, it was Daddy’s birthday, and Hot Mama, Wyatt and I took the ferry into the city to surprise him for lunch. Then we went to Hot Mama’s office, and then back to Daddy’s office and then to dinner and then back on the ferry, together.

I know Daddy was really happy with the entire day. I was too. A lot happened, but it was all good.

Happy birthday, Big Man.

It’s Good To Have Role Models

What I learned today was that my Gram is amazing. She took me to the bike shop so she could get her bike fixed, and I was like, “Whoa! You ride a bike? I see Wyatt riding his bike too! So you’re like him? Oh no, wait, your bike is so much more complex than his. You’re like really good!”

That’s my Gram.

I Live In An Earthquake Zone

What I learned today was that I live in an earthquake zone. Which means that when the earth shakes, I shouldn’t automatically assume that it’s because Daddy farted.

I mean, it’s probably that.

It’s also a natural disaster.
